Aeroflot will double the number of flights to Barcelona

The largest airline in Eastern Europe loves sunshine and excellent beaches in Spain, so Aeroflot, Russia's largest airline, continues to strengthen its ties with the countries of the Iberian Peninsula this summer. If last summer new routes were opened from Moscow to Valencia and Alicante, this season the news arrives from the El Prat airport in Barcelona, from where a new fifth daily flight will be introduced to the Russian capital.

Therefore, Aeroflot will fly five times a day to the main Catalan airport El Prat, what has already been published on its official website. However, this flight will have an important feature that differentiates it from other flights from Aeroflot to Barcelona, namely that it will be made from Vnukovo airport, and not from Sheremetyevo airport, where Aeroflot has its main base. This characteristic is due to the availability of free time intervals for the realization of the corresponding flights.

Meanwhile, the journey from Vnukovo airport to the center of Moscow will take you about 45 minutes, just a little bit more than the 30 minutes trip from Shermetyevo airport. At the same time, travelers who choose to fly with the Vueling company, which also operates on this route, but from the third Moscow airport, Domodedovo, from where you can reach the crowded center of the Russian capital in 40 minutes.

In addition, currently the Aeroflot aircrafts also fly from Barcelona to St. Petersburg, under the name of a Rossiya subsidiary company, which had been absorbed by the Russian aviation market giant in 2010. The impressive aircraft fly twice a week from the city on the Mediterranean coast in the direction to the city known thanks to the czars of Russia.
