Spain will receive million foreign tourists this year
According to the forecasts of the Spanish Government in the country will arrive this year three million visitors more in 2014, representing an increase of 6.2%. The Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy reiterated that Spain would reach the number of 68 million foreign tourists this year.
Spain's Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy said that Spain will be able to achieve this year a figure of 68 million foreign tourists at the end of the year, according to forecasts that handles the executive power of the country and which indicates that the country will receive 3 million more visitors (6.2%) than in 2014, which was already a record year for Spanish tourism.
 
The forecasts of the Spanish government for the end of 2015 confirms the expectations of the tourism industry of the country on the good summer, after a 5% registered till now and is expected to last after this summer with the increase of 3%.
Mariano Rajoy, who this week visited the city of Pontevedra in Galicia, recalled that during the first half of this year came to Spain more than 29.2 million foreign tourists, which is 4.2% more than in January- June 2014, marking so a new record, according to the latest official data published by the competent authority responsible for statistics. For July 2015 the figures are not yet known.
"If so many tourists choose precisely Spain, that means something," – noted positively Mariano Rajoy, who stressed the good infrastructure, public services and natural attractions that exist in Spain, and therefore is the second country in the world for revenues of the tourism sector and is situated in third place in the number of tourist arrivals. It should also be noted that in the tourism sector in Spain work more than two million people, or 12% of total employment work.
