According to forecasts from the state tourism agency Exceltur tourism sector in Spain has emerged from the crisis and continues to grow. In particular, it is projected that up to 2013 this is an important lever of Spain will rise by 0.2 %, which means the beginning of economic growth after several years of decline and stagnation. Among the autonomous regions of Spain, the most significant growth of foreign tourism has occurred in the Canary, Balearic Islands and Catalonia by 7.6 % , 4.8 % and 4.2 %, respectively.
