The airline plans to launch weekly flights to the first destiny, and twice a week in the second.
With the start of the summer tourist season, many airlines are introducing new routes from or to Barcelona, which is world's largest tourist destination. Thus airline Vueling presented at the official press conference of his plans for the development of new flights that will take effect in the summer of 2014.
According to the words of Javier Suarez, the Director of Development airline Vueling, as a weekly flight Barcelona-Yerevan will become operational from 1 July 2014, as well as two weekly flights will depart from Barcelona El Prat Airport in Thessaloniki, the capital of the Greek region of Macedonia.
Besides, Javier Suarez presented more detailed information about future new routes of the company. Thus, the Barcelona-Yerevan flight will fly on Tuesdays and generally will provide 3,240 seats during the summer 2014.
At the same time flight Barcelona – Thessaloniki is a two times a week, on Thursdays and Sundays , starting from July 3 until September , when the flight will also be weekly, with the total number of passenger seats of 6,480.
Other international airlines such as Ryanair, also announced the introduction of new routes for the summer season 2014 . In this case, Ryanair will connect Barcelona with direct flight with English Manchester. In addition, according to official figures Norwegian Airline Company has increased in 3 times the volume of traffic at Barcelona and also will introduce additional flights from Oslo for the summer season 2014, so that everyone could visit the Catalan capital this summer.
