For Russian followed the French, British and Dutch. Josep Poblet noted that “just last year the Costa Dorada received 5.1 million foreign tourists, which is slightly more than the year before”.
To promote and attract tourism to the region, the government of Tarragona, Hotel Association and city halls of Salou, Cambrils and Vilaseca, came to an agreement on joint management of resources, the region obtained by collecting the tourist tax, for the development of tourism on the Costa Dorada. Part of this agreement was to establish the charter flights from spring to the end of 2014 on strategically important destination with Russia.
